Our watercolour papers are high quality and not only limited to application of watercolour. These papers are equally used for pen and ink, various printmaking techniques , calligraphy (mainly smooth HP surface) and other arts where durability and quality is needed.

The main requirement for a fine watercolour paper is that it is ‘sized’ where sizing controls the amount of water the paper absorbs. The highest quality of watercolour paper is made from 100% cotton which is the purest form of cellulose. Chemical wood pulp is also used for making watercolour paper and has almost as high life expectancy than that of cotton-based paper.

Our selection of watercolour papers includes different weights, textures, colours and sizes. Click on the pictures to find out more about these papers and their specific qualities and uses.
