As with many of the Khadi tissues, these papers are made from the fibre of the lokta plant. Unsized but naturally non-absorbent and available in an array of colours these papers are used for collage, chine colle, drawing and other techniques. As with the Khadi tissues, care must be taken in using these papers as they may not be light- or colourfast. Also, as they too are handmade, every sheet will be different and the colours can vary hugely from batch to batch. The soft and flexible Thai paper, with silk threads, can be used in craft projects such as collage, cardmaking and printing.
